Almost. :)

It would be quite a bit of work, but a comment of the current political situation, and the circumstances that led to the election of a new president would certainly be interesting. I wouldn't post the topic, as it wouldn't be my creation. We would help you to create the topic, and to "clean up" the English, but your English is pretty good anyway. You would then post the topic under your own name, and thus pick up any merit or credits that it gains.

Creating a topic here allows other FtT members to comment on it, and this could help you to clarify or add points.

I would expect a mention of Fit to Talk in a postscript for two reasons. It avoids any risk of plagiarism accusations, and it helps to encourage other non-English members to create posts.

General Discussion / Politically incorrect music in bad taste.
« on: October 12, 2018, 11:03:28 AM »
Music can be a barometer for some of the socail changes and attitudes that are developing in modern society. Here is the opening track from the Dead Cat Bounce group at the 2010 AllStars comedy show.

This project seems to have become dormant, and that may be my fault. I started an initial discussion thread on Bitcoin Talk Meta -

Depending on the opinions posted, I might promote this in the political forum over the next few days.

I'm sorry, I seem to have missed this thread. I was gong to award the merits, but I didn't see a link to the Fit to Talk thread. We needto be really careful that we don't get involved in any plagiarism accusations.

Healthy living and eating around the world / The madagascar periwinkle
« on: October 11, 2018, 05:28:00 PM »
Since the 1950s the Madagascar preiwinkle has been know to contain vinblastine, which is a powerful agent to protect against some forms of cancer. You can read about recent research here -

Now the queston is - why are scientists trying to create a synthetic product which will no doubt have side effects, when they could be using the natural product without having to spend millions on research.

Well of course we all know the answer to that!

General Discussion / Expired Subway points
« on: October 08, 2018, 09:16:32 AM »
I don't visit the Subway sandwich shops very often, mainly because they don't provide a WiFi link. I have visited one a few times though. They provide power sockets, and I am able to use the WiFi service provided by the bank on the other side of the street. I had managed to collect 18 sub points from my purchases, and I've just looked in my spam email directory, and I saw that these points had expired on 01/10/2018.

Expiring points seems to be a pretty stupid decision, as it annoyed me. The idea behind the loyalty points is to persuade customers to return, and to make more purchases. Removing the incentive, and thus annoying customers, doesn't seem to be the best way to build a business.

para gordas / Re: Welcome to para gordas

Well this thread has turned out to be interesting, it seems that we need to have a look through the international suppliers, and add some links to the site.

Maybe it should also have some advice pages. Large women can be attractive, and the sensible selection of clothes can enhance this. Trying to appear to be an eight stone stick insect usually has the opposite effect though.

Saudi Arabia is creating a massive canal project as part of its deepening rift with Qatar. It will turn Qatar into an effective island, and will have military bases and nuclear waste dumps along its edge. You can find out more information about this project in this YouTube video.

General Discussion / Re: Corrections

Sorry I've been slow getting back to this, and thanks for jumping in JackG.

The author of the best-selling book ‘Rich Dad, Poor Dad’, Robert Kiyosaki, has spoken in favor of virtual currencies during a recent podcast. Mr. Kiyosaki described the United States Dollar (USD) as comprising a “scam” and predicted that precious metals and cryptocurrencies will outlast fiat currencies.

What do yoy guys think? Are cryptos really the people's money, or are governments trying to take them over to replace their failing fiat currencies.

If Bitcoin continues to increase in value, there will come a time when we will be spending Satoshi rather than fractions of Bitcoin. One Bitcoin is worth 100,000,000 Satoshi, and already we are talking of milli-satoshi and micro-satoshi.

I'm sorry to hear of your problem. Insurance companies seem to do all they can to avoid paying anything. There were a couple of things in your post that I will need to research, and I'm a bit caught up with some other issues at the moment. I'll revisit this thread later, and we'll see what we can suggest.

Not just the Caribbean / Mexican street ballet dancers

This looks like a great idea. Ballet dancers in the street to brighten the driving experience.

To become a quality poster, everything should start with lesrning to deliver your message properly, and this requires a reasonable skill in writing English. I've noticed that there are several members who still can't write English fluently, and I'm here as your companion to help you improve your English vocabulary and skills. English is not my Native language, but I would be willing to assist anyone as much as I can.

If anyone here is interested in improving their English writing skills, I could give you some help. I've been a Member of this English focused forum and it offers some discussions that may help to improve your posting and knowledge of English. is a support forum for members of Bitcointalk who are lacking the ability to write English correctly.

There is already a Local board for Filipinos where you can start any discussion you want to, but make sure it is something related to Cryptocurrency, Political issues etc, and it is written in English. Then the members of Fittotalk will try to correct the errors you've made in writing English, such as incorrect grammar, spelling, etc, so that you will be able to pin point your English errors, and you will learn to make a good opening post when you create your next thread thread. We help other members to correct all the mistakes and errors in their posts, and help them to make a good quality post.

Don't be afraid if you're having some difficulty in writing English, you can start a thread in there even though your English is not fluent. We can help you with that. Just make sure that the thread is posted in the appropriate section :).

Also, please take note that you should use your Bitcointalk username when registering in Fittotalk so that we can assist and correct your errors in your post from your Bitcointalk account. And to ensure that you are able to post your corrected post in Bitcointalk without the risk of a plagiarism accusation.

My main objective is to encourage Filipino citizens to become quality posters. I believe that Filipinos are good posters, and just need some improvements. Don't miss this opportunity to help yourself.

I've just started another project to help BitcoinTalk members. I've called the project "ask a legendaey", and it is a site which allows members to check previously asked questions, and to ask new questions. The questions are organised into categories, and usually refer to threads in the Bitcoin Talk forum. Reading the comments can be particularly useful, as topics can be discussed on more than one board in the forum.

Questions are free from bounty, ICO and other sig spammers topics, and I hope that you will agree that they are better quality posts, and contain useful advice and information.

Click here to view the 'ask a legendary' question project.
