Hi guys im from Nicaraagua and i wanted to share with you some of the delicious food from my country

This is Carne Asada (Grill meat) and Gallo pinto (Spoted rooster.. thats his name but its made from rice and beans)

Its a traditional food of my country its like a guilty pleasure for almost every nicaraguan people. Its sold in the corners of some streets in small improvised places named Fritangas they work only by night . Its also served with fried  banana  and fried cheese its very high in calories but its delicious. I think this is why obesity has a high prevalence. Almost every one of our food has so many calories like this one.

The health benefits of ripe bananas are underestimated. I know Jamaican grandmothers have some recipes that are reputed to help cure a number of ailments.

well the healthy facts i know its they are rich in potassium, help to prevent asthma  and alzhaimer

I had the big pleasure of trying this one but made by a Colombian guy. Is there any difference in the recipes??

Hi helana sorry for taking months to respond , i had to move because of problems in my country. I really dont know if is there a difference but if u taste it and like it im more than happy to know it.
 because im proud im the food of our latin american countries. i hope u can read this and sorry for taking so long
