Tssss a nice way to wait. Mexico City is a traffic chaos, and it is common to see any kind of things being sold, as well as acrobatic stuff with fire, people vomiting fire included.
The dance idea seems quite more "elegant".

OMG!! You should see the things we have in some corners, clowns with big buts (made of balloons), fire eaters, jugglers, mimes, and the saddest... mom with baby bundle wrapped on her back asking for money to feed her young ones!

A friend who visited Mexico city a a few years ago from Canada, said that when he went back to his hometown he got bored waiting for the traffic light to change!! LOL
