Carbon sequestration
« on: March 09, 2019, 10:34:59 AM »
Carbon sequestration seems to be a new idea to try to reduce the impact of free carbon and carbon dioxide in the atmosphere and in the oceans. The carbon dioxide is liquefied and then pumped into depleted oil reserves as a form of tertiary recovery.

Biological carbon sequestration is a more traditional method, and it involves planting trees and vegetation to absorb the carbon and carbon dioxide. You can help with this by avoiding chopping down trees in your gardens, and keeping flowers and other vegetation rather than converting your garden into a parking lot.
