This course explained the six speech/phonological patterns to prioritize when working with toddlers with speech intelligibility issues with an introduction to teaching the first pattern – Syllableness. Clinicians learned to explain to parents why each is important to speech development and how to determine if their toddler uses this pattern in spontaneous utterances. Early target words and activities were reviewed for teaching Syllableness.
